Recommendation
A. Award and authorize the City Manager to execute a Construction Contract with Granite Construction Company, Inc. for the 2023 Pavement Rehabilitation Project in the not-to-exceed amount of $5,253,409.25 subject to the requirements of the contract documents.
B. Authorize the Public Works Director to approve contract contingency for the 2023 Pavement Rehabilitation Project in an amount not to exceed $1,050,600.00; and
C. Award and authorize the City Manager to execute a Professional Design Services Agreement with UNICO Engineering, Inc in an amount not-to-exceed $739,230 for Construction Management, Inspection and Material Testing services with a termination date of December 31, 2025.
D. Adopt Resolution No. 24-__, entitled “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Goleta, California, deeming the 2023 Pavement Rehabilitation Project Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).”
