Recommendation
A) Adjust electric vehicle charging rates at City-owned stations to $.35/kWh during off-peak hours, and $.45/kWh during on-peak hours (4:00-9:00pm); and
B) Allocate a budget appropriation of $28,000 to cover electric utility bills at EV chargers, but will be offset by revenue paid by users and budgeted fleet charging costs, and overage set aside in an equipment and reserve fund as described in the Fiscal Impacts Section.
