Recommendation
Conduct the second reading (by title only) and waive further reading and adopt Ordinance 16-_ entitled “An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Goleta, California, Amending Title 15, “Buildings and Construction,” of the Goleta Municipal Code, Adopting by Reference the California State Building Codes and Other Related Codes; Adopting Local Revisions to Those Codes; Adding Chapter 15.15 Entitled “Energy Code”, Chapter 15.16 Entitled “Historical Building Code”, Chapter 15.17 Entitled “Existing Building Code”, and Chapter 15.18 Entitled “Referenced Standards Code”; and Repealing Ordinance 13-05.”
