Recommendation
A. Authorize the City Manager to execute a lease, subject to final negotiation, and in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, with 6500 Hollister, LLC for the space located at 6500 Hollister Ave., Suite 105 for use as a temporary Library space, for an initial term of two years, beginning on April 1, 2025, with four (4) additional six-month extensions, and for an estimated two-year rent of $226,577 through March 31, 2027; and
B. Authorize the transfer of $516,000 from CIP No 9127, Goleta Community Center Renovation, and CIP No. 9131, Historic Train Depot Preservation, to Program 2100, to cover costs associated with the provision of temporary Library services during construction of the Goleta Valley Library ADA, Safety, and Building Improvement Project, CIP No. 9130, as discussed in the Fiscal Impact Section.
