Recommendation
It is recommended that the Planning Commission:
1. Open a public hearing to take verbal and written testimony; and
2. After considering the evidence presented during the public hearing, adopt Planning Commission Resolution No. 26-____, entitled “A Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City Of Goleta, California, recommending that the City Council 1) Adopt the Greenbark 30 Battery Energy Storage System Project Final Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program; 2) Approve a General Plan Amendment from General Commercial (C-G) to Office and Institutional (I-OI); 3) Adopt an Ordinance Amendment to Title 17 of Goleta Municipal Code Zoning Map from General Commercial (CG) to Office Institutional (OI); and 4) Approve a Development Plan, Major Conditional Use Permit, and Preliminary Level Design Review for a Battery Storage System at the Greenbark 30 Site Located at an Unaddressed Parcel on Viajero Drive known as APN 079-210-053; Case Nos. 24-0001-GPA, 24-0002-ORD, 24-0007-DP, 24-0002-CUP, and 24-0002-DRB”.
