Recommendation
A. Adopt on a four-fifths vote Urgency Ordinance No. 23-__U, entitled “An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Goleta, California, Adding Chapter 8.19, Entitled Tenant Protections, to Title 8, Health and Safety, of the Goleta Municipal Code, Determining the Ordinance to be Exempt from CEQA, and Declaring the Urgency Thereof;” and
B. Introduce and conduct first reading (by title only) and waive further reading of Ordinance No. 24-__, entitled “An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Goleta, California, Adding Chapter 8.19, Entitled Tenant Protections, to Title 8, Health and Safety, of the Goleta Municipal Code, and Determining the Ordinance to be Exempt from CEQA.”
