Recommendation
A. Approve a budget appropriation of $45,001 from the General Fund Unassigned Fund Balance, allocating $30,001 to Account 101-5-4300-505 (Advance Planning Professional Services Elwood) and $15,000 Account 101-5-5400-403 (Public Works Parks and Open Spaces - Maintenance Trees);
B. Authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement No. 2017-095 with Rincon Consultants, Inc., for continued assistance on the Ellwood Tree Action Plan support services, increasing the maximum contract amount by $15,001, for a total not-to-exceed $45,000;
C. Authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement No. 2016-145 with Althouse and Meade, Inc., for continued assistance with tree health condition assessments in the Ellwood area, extending the term one year to December 31, 2018, and increasing the maximum contract amount by $15,000, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $28,100; and
D. Authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 3 to Professional Services Agreement No. 2014-129 with Agri-Turf Supplies, Inc., for consulting arborist services, increasing the maximum contract amount by $15,000, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $135,000.
